Tip for Organizations:
What can help our team stay motivated and have fun during these virtual times? They miss the get together we have every quarter.
Answer:
Set a time aside for a fun activity with the team. Put together a package to be sent to each team member. A Fresh Meal package is one idea. Have the team make the meal together on Zoom or FaceTime. Each team member can have either the same or different meal. Then have each person give their own take on the meal using the team’s guidelines.
Communication Question:
Question:
Too often I see one or more audience members get distracted while I am speaking. How can I keep them on track?
Answer:
To help keep the audience engaged, use visuals besides yourself. Be sure to use visuals (pictures) not just words on the screen. You can also use daily events found on the internet to connect your content. This will help to make your point relevant.
Presence Question:
Question:
It seems as if I am wearing the same things over and over now that I am working from home. I am on several Zoom meetings a day every week. How do I keep track of what to wear?
Answer:
When days seem to be endless, with no real live interaction, we become complacent. One recommendation is to start out the week with a rack of just the tops or shirts with variety. Plan one outfit for each day. Add accessories, such as scarves, necklaces, and earrings. Changing eyewear is helpful too. It is best to have three pairs of glasses to interchange. This is especially true for men, as eyewear can become a good accessory. This will also keep you feeling fresh.

Question:
Many individuals are tired of wearing masks and social distancing. How do I handle this conversation without too much drama?
Answer:
This a tough subject. It is best not to engage and debate. The wisest course of action is to continue to be a role model by wearing a mask and social distancing. At Walgreens they are now selling sparkly masks just to make it fun.
