The Situation: Leadership Presence
Jane is a senior executive up for promotion. Her mentor is concerned that her leadership presence and brand may not at the place needed to assume the next position.
The Solution/Action Plan:
In reviewing a video of Jane, she realized there were areas to work on. Her message needed more clarity and succinctness in validating her brand and her appearance could stand some sharpening. Her wardrobe was updated with colors as well some adjustments to fit. It also became apparent that Jane’s personal and professional style was ready for an upgrade. Jane became more confident in different choices that were a bit out of the box from selections she made in the past. Jane also became more certain about the reason this promotion and organizational role suited her skill set.
The Outcome:
Jane was interviewed by three senior executives (normal protocol) and promoted to head a regional group in her organization.
