Answer:
In most companies, cards are signed by the staff. To personalize add another step by jotting down a note specifically to the client or customer that you have or would like to have a relationship with. In the note, suggest a lunch, breakfast or coffee meeting for the New Year.
Communication Question:
Question: How can you ensure you are heard during a conference call on speaker?
Answer: If you do not have to speak louder, you must speak slowly and begin with the topic or question being discussed. Ask questions afterwards to verify you were heard.
Presence Question:
Question:
How soon can you start wearing clothes, sweaters or ties with holiday designs?
Answer: Even though we are experiencing holiday decorations, try to wait until after Thanksgiving, especially this year, since it is so early. The only exceptions are non-western seasonal holidays. I would definitely check with the organization about any policies addressing holiday type clothing.

Gaining weight is a problem during the holidays because of the all the parties. However, I do not want to insult my hosts by not eating.
Answer:
The key is to eat, but not over eat. It is important to be a part of the festivities because much effort is spent to ensure everyone is having a good time.
