June Tips For Communication & Image Success

Tip for Organizations:

Question:
We have some newly promoted managers that need some strengthening in their leadership presence.

Answer:
Leadership presence has many elements to it. To help them determine what to address, begin a one-on-one conversation to ask their thoughts about how they see their leadership abilities.

Communication Question:

Question:
I have a voice that ends on a high note and have been told it diminishes my credibility.

Answer:
Record your voice by reading a controversial newspaper article out loud. Listen to the tape and notice when your voice hits the high note. Go back and read the article again while placing your first three fingers on your throat. When your voice goes up you will feel it. Notice how it feels when you are talking at a normal level sound and when your voice goes high. A great voice coach is Roger Love. He has many tips and articles on developing an amazing voice. Answer:
