May Tips For Communication & Image Success
Tip for Organizations:
Question:
Our account managers continue to get invited to casual outdoor sports events by clients and customers. What are some of the dos and don’ts about what to wear?
Answer:
Guidelines for what to wear to very casual outdoor sports events held by customers or clients include:
– Do be dressed in crisp, well maintained clothing.
– Don’t wear torn jeans (no matter how stylish they are).
– For women, don’t wear any low cut items or too short of shorts. Layer lightweight fabrics on a full figured shape.
– For men, don’t wear tank tops or tee shirts with offensive logos. Polo shirts are for golf only.
Communication Question:
Question:
I have been told I am too loud when speaking on the phone in a conference call. How do I manage this when my passion for a subject gets the best of me?
Answer:
Put three fingers on your throat when you are speaking in a normal tone and see how it feels. When you get passionate and loud, place three fingers on your throat and see how it feels so you can see the difference. When you feel yourself begin to get excited, put your fingers again on your throat. This will help you know when to modulate your voice.
Presence Question:
Question:
My hair is beginning to gray. It is mousy brown and has no life in it. What would you recommend to change it? Should I darken the brown or lighten it? Also, I am on the road five days out of the week so I need my hair to be easy care for, just wash and dry.
Answer:
To achieve the optimal look along with a contemporary design for hair styles, add red or gold highlights to your brown coloring and maybe think about a body wave. This will add more body to your hair.
