Answer:
A dress rehearsal is key. Make sure they dress the part, have a clear, concise message of who they are and why they are the best person for the position. Videotape the rehearsal with and play it back to review key strengths and areas that need some fine tuning.

Answer:
A good method of developing your message is to start with an outline of bullet points. If you are more visual, draw a map with you in the center and begin to place past and current key points around you. This can help illustrate your strengths and the impact of your role which will be critical in helping attain your new position.

Answer:
Dress (always wear a jacket) is important along with being conscious of using body language that will send messages of confidence. Sit up straight, maintain eye contact (no wandering eyes or head movements) and relax your hands.
