May Tips For Communication & Image Success

Tip for Organizations:

Question:

We are hoping to have some of our key managers interview for next position. How can we help prepare them?

Answer:

A dress rehearsal is key. Make sure they dress the part, have a clear, concise message of who they are and why they are the best person for the position. Videotape the rehearsal with  and play it back to review key strengths and areas that need some fine tuning.

Communication Question:

Question:

As I begin to craft my message, what are some ideas that will help me be succinct, as I tend to ramble?
Answer:

A good method of developing your message is to start with an outline of bullet points. If you are more visual, draw a map with you in the center and begin to place past and current key points around you. This can help illustrate your strengths and the impact of your  role which will be critical in helping attain your new position.
