Question:
What tips can we give our employees to help them develop more effective presentations for various groups?
Answer:
Before they begin to finalize their presentation, advise them to ask a few of these critical questions. Who will be in the audience, and what is their background and relationship to the message? Have they had prior exposure to the subject? If yes, will your presentation be a refresher or will it focus on a different angle or new developments related to the topic? Knowing the answers to these key questions and targeting your presentation accordingly will ensure that your audience will be receptive to your message.
